Fulkerson Winery 25th Anniversary Video

January 13, 2014 · 0 comments

Recently, we finished a summer-long project for Fulkerson Winery, one of the many wineries that dot the shores of the Finger Lakes region of Upstate NY.

The Fulkersons have been on the continent for over 200 years; the winery sits on land that was first settled by Caleb Fulkerson, a veteran of the Revolutionary War. He staked out the land with a willow walking stick in 1805, and he was buried on the property in a family cemetery that still exists today; he made his coffin from the tree that took root from that walking stick.

It’s a great story, and the Fulkersons have a remarkable family history. We’re proud to be part of the Fulkerson story and to help them share this history with folks in the region and beyond.

The video represents the combined efforts of the entire LaVere Media staff, with stills and videography from owner Rich LaVere and production assistant Deric Underhill. Additional photography was provided by the Fulkerson family and renowned finger lakes photographer Stu Gallagher. It’s a prime example of the kind of video production we hope to bring to others in the region; proof that you don’t have to outsource local work to a larger city to get great results.

Thanks again to everyone that helped make this happen!
